A private compilation of publicly archived seismic records, assembled by a retired engineer over nine years and given to this newspaper without condition. Every underlying record is public and we have spot-checked forty of them against the archive. Four did not match; the compiler agreed, corrected them, and the corrected version is the one we hold.

Held by: They Buried, document room; underlying data public

Excerpt

EVENT 1971-284-A · long-period · duration 3h 51m · no clear P/S separation
compiler's note: ringing persists far beyond the model for a body of this
composition. This is well documented and has ordinary explanations. I am
not proposing an extraordinary one. I am only listing the events.
