Constance Ubaldo-Reyes edits and does not file; there are no stories under this byline, and that is the job.
Constance Ubaldo-Reyes runs the floor. Every correction this newspaper publishes passes across her desk twice: once when it is written, and once ninety days later, when she checks whether the underlying practice changed. She keeps a physical ledger of every unverified claim the paper has declined to print. It runs to eleven volumes.
Disclosures
Her spouse is a hydrologist for the Finger Lakes water authority; she recuses from municipal water coverage.
